Saddam Mapundu is a renewable energy entrepreneur, engineer, and technology innovator with over a decade of experience developing clean energy solutions across Africa. He is the Founder and CEO of Galactic Renewables, the company behind Choto Energy, a digital Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform that enables communities to access renewable energy through a network of locally operated energy hubs.
A graduate in Fuels and Energy Engineering, Saddam is passionate about leveraging technology, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence to expand energy access and create sustainable economic opportunities. His work has earned recognition through the Mandela Washington Fellowship, the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme, and the TotalEnergies Startupper of the Year award in Zimbabwe.
