SHERI ADEKOLA

Ms. Adekola has completed her Comprehensive Exams for her PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies at the Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. Her most recent areas of research include: Tourism and Marketing, Migrant and Diversity Education, Urbanization and Globalization. Her Thesis is entitled, “Skilled Labour Migrant: Moving from Migrant Intention to Retention”, under the study and research direction of Dr. Margaret Walton-Roberts of Wilfrid Laurier University, Department of Geography & Environmental Sciences.

As a person who believes in enhancing teaching and learning through technology, she brings extensive study, research and applied teaching methods in the areas of Business and Communications. She guides students in examining the relationship and impact of information systems, technology and related applications through both functional and support activities as well as e-Project planning & strategy. Ms. Adekola holds expertise in leveraging online software, teaching via Learning Management Systems (LMS), and hybrid teaching strategies.

Ms. Adekola presently holds two teaching positions in Ontario, Canada. She is is a Professor in the School of Business at both Sheridan College and George Brown College, where she is teaching a wide range of levels and sections of courses for Business and Human Resource majors.
