Dr. Sadia Shermeen

I am an experienced educator and researcher in Marketing. I started my career in Marketing Research and later became an academic.

The areas of my research includes 'Internationalisation of SMEs in a Developing Country', 'SME Entrepreneurship in a Developing Country', Export Development Process of SMEs in a Developing Country' and 'Marketing Strategies of MNCs'.

I am currently teaching at the two year Business Management and Entrepreneurship Program at Algonquin College. I taught management and marketing courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels for more than ten years. Courses that I have previously taught include Strategic Marketing Management, Integrated Marketing Communications, Entrepreneurship Development, Marketing for Non-Profit Organizations, New Tools and Methods in Marketing, Business Communication, Consumer behavior, and Marketing Research. I served in many academic committees and have years of experience in curriculum development. I am an occasional reviewer of a few journals including the Journal of Customer Behavior (UK).

I am a fun and adventure loving person with a warm and friendly attitude. I like travelling and getting to know different cultures and cuisines. I am passionate and committed to what I do.
