I was the packaged product of suburbia. A consumer of conveniences chained to the familiar, comfortable, and easy. Even my palate couldn’t escape this fate. Shamefully, I was once a “well done new york srip” customer… an order that makes me cringe today. The decision to simply try a jalapeno engulfed my brain with a fiery passion for cuisine.
