Carola Mittag

After many years working in healthcare and, always concerned about personal health and safety in the presence of toxic, caustic, biological and other hazardous substances, Carola changed professions to pursue a career in occupational health and safety. Her personal motto has always been: “The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today’s work superbly well.” Sir William Osler. This principle translates well into the lingo of health and safety: “The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today’s work safely.” Carola, founder of Workplace Safety Group, regularly writes health and safety articles for various industry-specific and professional magazines.

Because Carola values going home to her family, children and grandchildren, she wants nothing more than to help everyone go home safely to their families at the end of the day.
