I hope I haven't taken Google's name in vain!
Creative, Hardworking and Dynamic graduate with an MSc degree in Strategic Marketing. I am passionate about technology, consumers and brands in general. I have helped to run the family business (a craft shop) for a decade now which has given me a good business work ethic. The business has been run very much traditonally however I am working on building a websites for the family business and in particular designing and marketing strategy for my fathers handmade ceramics which fly off the shelves like the brussel sprouts on Christmas eve.
Professionally I possess strong communication skills, a strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem solving mindset. I am currently seeking new opportunities in marketing and in particular in the digital marketing spectrum.
I am very much a knowledge/current affairs junkie. I enjoy reading anything and everything from the cooking instructions on pasta (okay I'm not that dull), My Facebook newsfeed to the subtitles on the reality TV Programme aired on Geordie Shore to the Sunday Business post and the Irish Times.
I also love to relax into a good novel preferably a Thriller I have subconsciously been choosing this genre so It must be my favourite. I have just finished reading "Gone Girl" by Gllian Flynn which I could elaborate upon right here but might do so in a blog. Currently I am engrossed in a book called High Powers which is a true story based in a Bolivian prison which is a facinating read.
Whats important to me:
- Outdoors/ The Sea: fresh air, vitamin D, attempt a tan line, swim in the ocean and do water sports.
- Fitness: Bigram Yoga, Tag Rugby, Tennis and walking. Good nutrition cannot be underestmated!
- Music: probably shouldn't use Drug in my aboutme profile but I cannot imagine how life would be like without it.
- Blogging: On wordpress and occsassionaly on Spunout.
- Humour: I Thoroughly believe that there is a laugh at the end of every tunnell. I occasionaly attend comedy gigs. A few of my favourite comedians include Des Bishop, Aido Bishop, Davd McSavage, Tommy Tiernan, Miranda Harte, Neil Delamare and not forgetting the infamous Damo and Ivor (Andy Quirke) from the republic of telly.
