Saga Briggs

A native of the Oregon Coast, Saga has made it her goal to mine the literary arts community wherever she has settled, from Oberlin, OH to Portland, OR to the World Wide Web (current location). As her creative pursuits have led her to adopt an increasingly entrepreneurial attitude, she is in the process of starting her own editing service.

Saga has written/edited for Night Owls Press (San Fran), Dancing Moon Press (Newport, OR), The Houston Chronicle, Boundless Learning (Boston), A Pass Educational Group (Detroit), and Tin House Magazine and Tin House Books (Portland). She created the press kit and launched the social media campaign for Capitol Family Office (CFO), a financial planning firm in Portland. She has also taught and tutored writing at the elementary, middle school, and post-secondary levels. Currently, she is a Staff Education Writer for InformED, the Open Colleges blog.

In her spare time, Saga runs competitively and watches The Walking Dead.
