Sally Gentry

I was born and raised in mixed farming and construction and learned early on the power of the dedication of knowledge and hard work. I left that life in 1980 and raised my 3 sons as a single working Mother, attending university, college and trade schools and travelling all over North America on business and pleasure; so that I would progress in my career and provide for my children as if they had 2 parents and two incomes. Project Management and Nursing have been my strengths over the past 30 years and Project Management and serving others (including charity organizations) still gives me great satisfaction. When I am not involved in my work, exercising or sleeping, I also enjoy time with children and grandchildren, gardening, cooking great meals; swimming, day tripping in the Ottawa and Seaway Valleys. I have also enjoyed whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, hot air ballooning and skydiving over the years. My oldest son was killed by a drunk driver in 2005 and that was a shock wave that has been receding over the past 6 months. I would love to get back into full time employee status and the "family" work environment we enjoyed in the 80's and 90's. I have endured working government contracts and fast food places over the past decade while waiting for the high tech community to revilve itself. I like getting things done right and on time, overcoming all challenges; and moving onto to a better life. I would like to have a great man in my life and be married, but that hasn't happened for me yet; but I am still hopeful.
