Before I made the move into Film and Television I grew a fondness for the Theatrical stage. From a young age I had been a performer, ranging from comedy to dance. My look is an ambiguous combination of Native American (Navajo) and Middle Eastern (Iranian) which also describes my background, where (Mid)East meets West.
I began my career in the theatre at age 11 and developed and appreciation for Indigenous authors where I later became involved with the Native American Theatre and Performing Arts Community while in College. My initial performances were a combination of Musical Comedy and Childrens Theatre. Later, that knack for comedy and childrens theatre lead me to become the artistic director of the Intertribal Theatre Project where Navajo Mythology came to life on stage where I traveled with the touring group for 3 years while attending Fort Lewis College, then to Arizona State University. My High School theatre performances ranged from Shakespeare to Tombstone Wild West Gun Show Re-enactments.
While attending ASU I signed with Ford Models (RBA) as female talent and booked her my commercial for an Anti-Tobacco ad campaign. Since then I had appeared in numerous Magazines, Music Videos, Commericals, and other projects with companies like 944 Magazine, Spike TV, and the Pussycat Dolls. Internationally, I have worked with Telemundo (North/South America), Univision (North/South America), Jam-e-Jaam (International/Iran), CCTV (Central China Television), and Tapesh Television (International/Iran).
I am currently working behind the camera on the Social Justice Documentary piece, The Marauder Market, after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
