Saheel Shah

I was born in March of 1994 in North York, Ontario. At the age of eight I moved to Markham where I currently live.

Some of my interests include cooking, singing and watching television (I know the latter sounds superficial, but I genuinely enjoy watching a vast array of programs that are amusing and on occasion educational).

Since a young age, I have always dug for the truth in things. My blunt personality and in your face attitude has gotten me into trouble more times than I count, but has also been the reason for my choice to be a journalist. My passion for writing and desire to lead a life that did not involve the mundane world of an office only furthered my interest in the career. Eventually I applied to Ryerson University's reknowned journalism program where I am currently a first year student. Although my knowledge on this thrilling career is limited, I am elated to be one of the few to attend the program. In the years to come, I hope to offer a vast portfolio of news stories on the events surrounding our daily lives as I acquire the skills to be a journalist and build a name for myself in this fast- paced and everchanging industry.
