I am a Sierra Leonean Public Health Laboratory scientist, public health researcher, and lecturer committed to strengthening diagnostic systems and disease surveillance in low-resource settings. I currently serve as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer at Koidu Government Hospital under the Ministry of Health, and lecture in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy, and Laboratory Science modules at tertiary institutions in Kono District.

With over five years of experience across clinical and food-and-beverage laboratories, my expertise spans microbiological quality control, antimicrobial resistance testing, biochemistry, hematology, and the implementation of laboratory quality systems in alignment with international standards such as ISO 15189, ISO 17043, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000.

I am the founder of Health Aids with Knowledge and Support (HAWKS)—a community-based organization committed to ensuring that health awareness becomes a priority through research, outreach, and education. My research interests include bacteriology, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, and laboratory quality management, with a strong focus on generating evidence to inform health policies and practices.

As a public speaker and mentor, I am passionate about professional development, academic leadership, and driving public health impact through diagnostic science and health education.
