Sai Charan Thotapalli

I'm currently working as a Senior Business Analyst at Groupon, Chicago. I've graduated from my Master’s in Information Technology and Management (focusing on Business Intelligence and Analytics) from The University of Texas at Dallas - Naveen Jindal School of Management.

In 2015, I’ve worked as a Business Analyst Intern (summer) at Priceline.com and Ground Operations – Performance Analytics Intern at Southwest Airlines for the spring. I worked on certifications in SQL, Analytics and Business Intelligence. I learned how to perform extensive and complex analysis of business needs, planning and designing of business processes.

I was the Student Ambassador for the ITM program at UT-Dallas which gave me the privileged opportunity to represent the program at various professional events, respond to prospective student inquiries, analyze and provide feedback on new initiatives.

I am a recipient of the Dean's Impact Scholarship for excellent academic performance and demonstrated leadership skills. Furthermore, my volunteer experiences with the student organizations, both undergraduate and graduate levels, helped me to lead and collaborate with other volunteers from diverse populations.
