Saidy Eliana Arias
scientist, researcher, and Nurse in Colombia
I hold a Ph.D. in Nursing and bring extensive experience as a researcher and university professor, with academic training in both Colombia and Brazil. My professional journey encompasses clinical practice, research, and academia, with a particular focus on Public Health, Health Interculturality, and Cultural Competency.
My research is deeply committed to working with vulnerable communities and ethnic minorities, employing a critical and interdisciplinary approach. I specialize in qualitative and participative research methods to address health disparities and promote equity within these populations.
Currently, my research's interest is centered on culturally adapting digital health technologies to meet the care needs (specially in mental health) of vulnerable groups in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
