As you can see in the picture I am a semi-professional model. Next to me is the arguably the best Super Smash Brothers Player in the world. Much like the early pre-teen Bieber fans I could barely contain my excitement in front of my idol and it shows in my distinguished smile. Super Smash Brothers itself started as a childhood leisure activity that alternated with throwing rocks and watching Saturday Morning cartoons. I would choose Fox and run around smashing my hand into the controller until something happened. Eventually I learned the game had a competitive scene and I jumped right in and proceeded to fall to the lowest echelon of skill. I began practicing on a regular basis developing my skills and premature arthritis. in order to get anything more than just fun out of the game I would have to win a tournament and to do that I'd have to beat anywhere from 50 to 100 other people all of whom are likely more dedicated, and shower less than me. Regardless, practicing and going to events is a fun way to challenge and improve myself on a regular basis. Hopefully developing early joint pain will be worth it in the future years, but for now, I'm enjoying a climb of slowly losing less everyday.
