Saikat Gomes

Currently I am a graduate student at University of Wisconsin, Madison, pursuing my Masters in Computer Science with a concentration on Machine Learning. I am a graduate project assistant with Eneida A. Mendonça, MD, PhD in the Department of Biostatistics & Medical Informatics, University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Before starting my graduate studies I worked with Merge Healthcare, Hartland, WI as a software developer (R&D) in the VNA team for 2 years. Previous to Merge I was employed with Epic Systems, Verona, WI for 2 years as a software developer (R&D) in the Radiant team.

I earned my Bachelors of Science from Caldwell College with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics and a minor in Economics with a 3.94 cumulative GPA. During this time I worked 17.5 hours on campus, served as the president of the Student Government Association, worked as a resident assistant and was involved in various campus activities.

I love motorcycles, snowboarding and outdoor stuff!
