Sailesh Akkaraju has been in the mortgage industry for over 23 years. Sailesh is an alumnus of the International business program of the Indian Institute of Management at Calcutta, and also has studied Operations management at the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi. A staunch believer in sustainable development he has also completed a program in Environmental management from the Indian Institiute of Science in Bangalore. Sailesh Akkaraju also has a certificate in accelerated development program from Wharton School , The University of Pennsylvania.

In business achievements he has been the CEO of Advantage Mortgage leading them to being a top mortgage banking compay in Milwaukee in 1995, 1996 and 1997. One of the pioneers of the outsourcing movement in India, he succesfully setup Smarter home solutions in India, which did end to end U.S. mortgage processing in India.

Sailesh Akkaraju has been a member of Mensa since the last twenty years. Sailesh is also an avid chess player playing in the last two All India Correspondence Chess National Championship and he has also played international team matches against teams from Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Spain, Romania and Hong Kong.

Sailesh Akkarajuis also an avid writer with writings in sports and other topics he feels strongly on, and he follows the Green Bay Packers and is not only a fan but also a share holder of only team in the NFL to be owned by its fans. Sailesh also follows Indian sports ( with the cricket team) and the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee bucks. Finally he loves to read when he is not doing anything else.
