Sailor Shadow; Robyn Markius; is a Persona I established on the web years ago. She's been very important to me and has come to be representative of me on the net now. As her creator, I've been happy to see how she's grown into her own.

My name is Jess, and I enjoy all sorts of anime and manga and the Japanese Culture itself. Most of my skills are self-taught, but my time in college helped me get to places I couldn't have on my own. I have been into Art, Music, and Creative Writing since I was little and will continue to enjoy such things.

This About.Me Page is primarily another point of establishment for my presence on the web and a new point of contact to those who've been around with us.

It should also serve to remind everyone that there's a real person behind fictional characters. Pieces of ourselves get put into our creations and all the work we do... it's just that sometimes we can easily forget there's someone real behind the fantasy we indulge in from time to time. It's simple to forget about interaction when there's a computer screen between you and someone else, and the knowledge that they're a human being over there as well. In this world of Anonymity, it's easy to even wind up forgetting who we're supposed to be, so here's my attempt to gain more of an anchor on who and what it is I want to be. What I'm supposed to be.
