Teacher, Consultant, and educator in Atlanta, Georgia

See what I did this year here!

I graduated from NYU with a BA in anthropology and pre-med, but then decided to take a short break by trying my hand in education with Teach for America.

I earned my Masters of Science in Science Education, was a founding member of a high school in Brooklyn, a science teacher at a high school in Manhattan, and became interested in urban education, curriculum design + technology in the classroom.

My break from medicine has since become a long hiatus as I ended up moving back to the Bay Area, teaching chemistry in East Oakland, becoming the the academic dean at that same high school, and then training and supported science teachers throughout the Bay right back where I started, at Teach for America as the director of science content.Somewhere in there, my team won the EDUStartUp Weekend. NBD.

I then packed everything up, drove my car across America, and now live in Atlanta. I enjoy planning the next big thing in science education, teaching myself how to code, and volunteering my free time volunteering at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and teaching kids how to program robots after school.
