I am a Community Program Developer and a Coordinator based in Toronto, Ontario. I have worked within a community engagement role for more than six years and enjoy interacting with the community in a meaningful way. I am a self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and have an in-depth knowledge regarding the community dynamics and excellent understanding of the challenges being faced by the multicultural communities and their families in Canada.

I have worked at Flemingdon Health Centre, Zamana Foundation, Community Unity Alliance, AWIC, The Intergenerational Community Network Services and North American Muslim Foundation at various capacities, which has helped me in understanding the core concepts of community program planning, awareness as well as engagement.

My experience has allowed me to exercise my ability to successfully interact with individuals, providing them with holistic interdisciplinary community care. This experience, coupled with my educational background, has allowed me to gain greater insight into the realm of health care. I have also been able to acquire a better grasp of effective strategies to develop service plans and implement support services for clients. As a result of my familiarity with this subject, my attitude is one that focuses on my abilities to be patient and understanding.

My interaction within the social service field, with various individuals, has allowed me to exercise my excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

My writing abilities have been perfected throughout my educational career. I also speak Urdu, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi and Kannada apart from English.
