Sajid Huq

Sajid Huq graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, in 2004. As a student at the Ivy League institution, Sajid Huq excelled in his studies, achieving a GPA of 3.87 and earning the Vivian Allen Foundation Scholarship for Academic Achievement. Sajid Huq also maintained involvement in extracurricular activities as an undergraduate, serving as President of the Club of Dartmouth Entrepreneurs and as a Research Associate at the Tuck School of Business. After graduating from Dartmouth College, Sajid Huq joined Morgan Stanley Global Capital Markets as an Analyst with the Convertibles Group. As a member of the New York City-based financial services firm, Sajid Huq used both Bloomberg and several in-house databases to perform research on a broad array of companies. In addition to preparing brief snapshots of prospective companies, Sajid Huq also organized pitch books, priced convertible securities using Microsoft Excel, and contributed to the marketing of Morgan Stanley services. In 2005, Sajid Huq enrolled in graduate school at Columbia University, where he successfully completed a Master of Arts in Financial Economics in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to achieving a 3.93 GPA, Sajid Huq earned distinction as a Richard Hofstadter Teaching Fellow, a comprehensive scholarship program considered among the most prestigious available to entering students. After leaving Columbia University in 2007, Sajid Huq accepted an offer to become a Senior Associate in the Research Analytics & Knowledge division of McKinsey & Company’s offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During his tenure with the prominent financial firm, Sajid Huq oversaw a number of projects related to industry research topics, such as consumer markets, electronics, software, financial services, and diversified industrials. After working at McKinsey & Company for more than a year, Sajid Huq joined KPMG International Cooperative as a Senior Manager of the Industries & Marketing team, a position he continues to hold today. In this role, Sajid Huq supervised a team of nine analysts tasked with preparing research products and organized a number of workshops and seminars on topics such as business writing and the U.S. Corporate Bond Market. As a senior member at KPMG, Sajid Huq performs the majority of his work in the company’s offices in Delhi, India, and Dubai, UAE.
