Academic Technologies Director in Florida
I am a native of Malaga, Spain, and the Director of Academic Technologies at The Pine School, an independent, college preparatory day school in South Florida.
I oversee academic and student information systems, act as the school’s webmaster, and help faculty and students better incorporate technology into their curriculum. I am a former Dean of Student Life at Pine, and before that, I taught Spanish and music and coached soccer. The Pine School named me Teacher of Excellence in 2009.
I was the Director of La Escuela Preparatoria first and then La Academia De España for Oxbridge Academic Programs for six years. They are study abroad programs for students in grades 9-12 held in Barcelona and Salamanca, Spain.
Prior to The Pine School, I was an orchestra director and soccer coach at The Lovett School in Atlanta for 12 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in music education from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Music degree from Georgia State University.
