Maira Salazar

Maira Salazar is an Accounting undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Maira is from Childress, Texas, and currently resides in Lubbock, Texas. Maira was inducted in to The National Society of Collegiate Scholars in May 2012. Her current cumulative GPA is a 3.4. Maira chose to be an Accounting major because of her interest in business organization, and learning the operations of money handling. She is interested in international business, and learning about different cultures. Maira's ambition is to study abroad for a semester to further knowledge about international business. Maira is apart of an on campus organization called RUF which stands for Reformed University fellow ship which allows her to be more involved with fellow undergraduate students, and the community. Maira has volunteered her time to rebuilding an orphanage in Peru. She recently stared working for Seeking sitter’s, which allows her to be a role model and mentor for kids.
