Shahab Al-Bahar is an undergraduate architecture student at the Rhode Island School of Design. His interests range from small scale residential to large scale bio-medical schemes. A Kuwaiti native who grew up in a vibrantly transforming yet geo-politically contested region, Shahab has developed political awareness and expressed interest in global issues. He believes that architecture is a visual language through which politics may be translated. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a Master's in International Politics. He intends to invest this combined knowledge of politics and passion for design in new strategies that continue to serve the interest of his community and similar regions.
