Caitlan Salerno

Caitlan Dey Salerno is my full birth name. Apparently my parents named me Caitlan with the intention of calling me Cait, it never stuck, until twenty some years later Cait became a nickname used by my closest friends, as well as my sister, Morgan.

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas a rather large cookie cutter town just north of Dallas. According to my first grade life plan I should be married by now, teaching at an elementary school and planning on having a baby within the next year or two. Instead I am single, living at home with my parents, a college drop out (x's 2), an addict of numerous things and one hot mess. I don't think a genuie could have guessed that one 18 years ago. But yet, here I am, alive and breathing and taking each day as it comes, even if that means being hit by a bulldozer over and over until I've been knocked unconscious.
