My PhD research deals about the link between central banking and financial stability issues. In fact, central banks decisions about monetary policy have many effects on financial stability and risk taking by financial institutions. The recent financial crisis shows that the separation principle between monetary and financial policies don’t holds any more. I study the recent implication of central banks in financial regulation and supervision across the world, specifically through the new macroprudential policy (MaP), which constitutes the centre of my research, but also through stress test exercises recently.
