A biotechnologist by education, I had never thought about becoming a journalist. I started off in 2008 at the US-based Bentham Science Publishers editing and publishing STM journals. I joined a mainstream English-language newspaper in 2009 and developed interest in the media.

I have already worked for several newspapers in Pakistan. Apart from being a journalist, I am also into farming and consultancy.

Next goal: Becoming a science and travel writer!
