I was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia surrounded by history. We were just minutes away from Valley Forge, now a National Park and a train ride away from historic downtown Philadelphia. I was an active kids, a "tom boy" if you ask my dad. I enjoy all kinds of sports;played basketball, field hockey and lacrosse all during school. Our high school lacrosse team was able to host a team from England and then visit England the next year. After school, I entered the workforce and became a manger for Pizza Hut. This lead to other food service type jobs and eventually, my husband. After the birth of our first child, we moved the family to Wisconsin. We wanted to bring the kids up in a more small town feel. That move in itself was an adventure to tell another day. My father taught me how to fish, which my husband and I enjoy a lot. However, I never learned how to hunt until after I got married. We started out rifle hunting for deer. There were some years that I out hunted him and filled my tags within two hours of opening day. A few years ago, I went to a Women in the Oudoors seminar. As a child, we did a lot of camping , so manu opf the topics were not new to me. Until we got to bow hunting. There was a women who taught us the basics of hunting and a local business man who taught us how to shoot a bow. From that point on I was hooked. I have been bow hunting for five years and enjoy it more and more. Slowly, my husband is trying to get bak into bow hunting, which he gave up many years ago. With my husband being an over the road truck driver, I have had to rely on myself to raise the kids. As all parents know, your kids do not appreciate what we do for them until many years later. All we can do it try our best. I currently work for a large Home Improvement business in the Corporate office. I made this change 7 years ago to be able to pursue other personal interests and spend more time with the family. As the kids get older and start to move away, I am able to indulge alittle in my interests.I am also a very active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. I have been the Auxiliary President for three years now and love the work we do for the community. I recently became a Distributor for Herbalife. I love the products and how they make me feel and the people that I meet with the business. My goal is to be able to build up that business so that I may retire in relative comfort and not have to struggle.
