Simon Allport

Simon is a technical specialist as K2 with aspirations of being a superhero. Simon likes taking K2 out of the box by seeing what technology he can get K2 to talk to from Lego Robots to fitness bands. Simon has over 10 years’ experience working on Microsoft based solutions. He has managed and designed solutions for a number of large enterprise clients including the NHS and MOD. While he isn’t saving the world from using the wrong workflow solution, he is focusing on customer pilot engagements and new partner technology initiatives.He has presented at a number of events throughout Europe like Sharepoint Connect, Garage Live at TechEd and a number of different sharepoint user groups. In his spare time he helps out with the local cub scout pack where he lives and a runner for his son’s films. If you haven’t guessed it he is a self-confessed geek with a passion for new technology and design.
