Growing up in Atlanta was quite an experience. Despite the constant crowds and the persistent noise of angry people honking their car horns, I would not trade growing up in a city for anything. Living in a very populous place has given me numerous opportunities to get involved in my community. From volunteering at my church, to taking 20 hours of dance classes a week, to hanging out with my friends and family, my life has been very active. It was these experiences that led me to attend the University of Georgia to study Communication Sciences and Disorders. My passion for teaching and caring for people with disabilities throughout my time at Lakeside High School pushed me to learn even further about this field in college. But for now, I am just a college freshman striving to be the best person I can be in order to expand my experiences and have a different point of view of life in this Bulldawg Nation.
