Hey, I’m Sally. I’m a Rewards Events and Recognition Coordinator living in Oviedo, Florida and also an Ambassador for Lyft which is a ride sharing service. If you ever need a way to go, be sure to let me know.

I am a fan of movies, writing, and education. I’m also interested in technology and reading.

I spend most of my free time fiddling around with my devices, reading fan fiction, streaming videos and trying to learn about databases and coding.

Admittedly I don’t spend as much as I should on the latter. I do believe however that everyone should get a chance to learn the basics of coding since code makes up most of the devices we use. It is also a great way to build logical and creative thinking skills.

All of these are interests that I want to take with me into the classroom. I believe to learn you must read and read often about everything and anything. I also believe that students need a chance to explore the world around them and since many students do not have access to the means to do so technology can be the gateway to achieve this.

Students can take virtual field trips and try their hands at real world problem solving without ever leaving the classroom. That's one of the things I love most about technology.

Outside of work and my studies as an educator I would one day like to be a published author for children and teens. My fondest ambition is to empower young girls to believe in themselves and learn be happy in their own skin.

My favorite genres to read and write are Fantasy and Historical Fiction. I even have a rather large collection of the Dear America Books.
