Salma Jimenez

Hello, my name is Salma Jimenez, I am currently enrolled at Arrupe College. I will be graduating this summer 2019. I am excited about the new chapter that will open after here. My interests range from arts to music, painting, singing, and technology. I am interested in pursuing graphic design because I think it will help me explore my artistic ability and give back to my community. As a dreamer myself, my birthplace might be in Mexico but I consider my home where I have grown most of life, here in Chicago. Especially in the Little Village neighborhood, a Mexican-American community. I notice that there is some necessity for helping those around me. My local church is there as well, and I would like to give back whether it is on making business cards, logos, posters, or anything else that can help. I can be really sincere with my work and considerate of others around me, especially those who have helped me and molded me into the person I am today.
