Salman F Rahman

Mr. Salman Rahman, brother of Sohail Rahman, is also one of the founders of the Company. He graduated from Karachi University in 1971. He has held a number of positions including: President of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries from 1994 to 1996; Chairman of the Bangladesh Enterprise Institute, a Bangladeshi Institute for private sector advocacy and free market development; Chairman of the Board of Editors of “The Independent” an English daily newspaper in Bangladesh: Chairman of Abahoni Limited, a prominent sporting club within Bangladesh; President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 1996 to 1998; President of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and President of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association. Currently he is the Chairman of IFIC Bank Ltd, President of the Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, President Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies and Director Central Depository Bangladesh.
