Salman Hirani

Salman’s experiences growing up in an underprivileged community and working in numerous others have fueled his commitment to finding strategies for eliminating barriers that impoverished people throughout the world must face, particularly in accessing quality health care and education. As a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (2009), with a BA in Psychology, he has continued his efforts of providing resources to low-income communities in Baltimore City, Dallas, and even in Hyderabad, Pakistan. Salman is currently a first year medical student at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he will gain experience working with impoverished populations to foster doctor-community and doctor-patient relationships.
