My name is Salman. I work to make a difference ! Ever since joining an online gaming firm in 2010, I have become extremely passionate about the IT, E-Commerce & Internet industry and have always thrived to grow the organization by increasing the revenue year on year. I am not an engineer, nor do I work hold a diploma in engineering. My interest and background lies in the technologies that helps companies source, attract and retain clients. I work closely with Business Owners, IT Professionals & HR Managers to leverage these technologies and build great teams.

Since the last 8 years, I have been actively involved in Entrepreneurship, New Business Development and Interacting with & Influencing Business Owners across geographies including APAC & MENA. And I have the fancy schmancy statistics to prove it:

After graduating with commerce in my Bachelors, I joined a well-established firm that had diversified operations into Console & Mobile Gaming. I had to part ways with the venture as I pursued my education for Post-Graduation into HRM.

It was during my internship as an HR in an IT company, I realized my interest wasn’t towards a 9 to 6 desk job. Hence, I moved into sales & business development in the same organization.

I have sold Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Resource Management Software (HRMS), Talent Management Services etc. to over 1000 businesses across geographies.

I was invited by India’s one of top business schools "Indian School of Business" to speak on "SME Sales & Bootstrapping Startups".

More recently, I have migrated to UAE and work in a consultative New Business Development & Key Account management role at Naukrigulf.com, the UAE's largest recruitment platform and the most successful internet company ever in MENA.

In other words, I don’t just talk about things. I do them. I’m a doer. It’s what sets me apart from most professionals in my peer group. It’s one thing to talk about things and making an impact, or writing a case study and drawing up a fancy business plan, it’s another thing to actually do it. Execution is the key to everything!
