Salóme is the CEO of Icelandic Startups, which mainly focuses on empowering the Icelandic Entrepreneurial Eco-system.
She is a member of the organization "LeiðtogaAuður" which purpose is to connect female leaders and empower them to sit at the table, reach for opportunities and take initiative in order to actively influence the business scene.
Salóme formerly held a management position within the academic community where she was responsible for running the continuous professional education department at Reykjavik University.
