Saloni is an entrepreneur and author who builds where there is no playbook. She has operated across startup, government, and scale, with leadership roles at Paytm and Invest India, where she led AGNIi. She is the author of Roots & Wings: Building India’s Deep Tech Ecosystem (2026) and founder of DesiCrew Solutions, an IT Services Company.

Full Bio

Saloni is an entrepreneur, author, and operator working at the frontlines of India’s deep tech and innovation ecosystem. She is known for building in spaces that don’t yet have clear playbooks, translating ideas into execution across startups, institutions, and policy.

She has held leadership roles at Paytm and Invest India.

She is the author of Roots & Wings: Building India’s Deep Tech Ecosystem (2026), a grounded look at how India is building in deep tech. Her earlier work includes Flip the Story and the children’s book Dadi and Layla’s Roadtrip.

Saloni founded DesiCrew Solutions, and serves on the board of Goonj. She is part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and Aspire Fellowship.

Outside of work, Saloni enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her friends and her dog.
