One man has been the face of exposing cheats, scams, and advantage plays in casinos for the last 26 years, and that man is Sal Piacente. Currently the president of UniverSal Game Protection Development, Inc., Piacente continues his endeavor to be the best at equipping the casino industry with the right arsenal of knowledge to protect their profitability from thieves, professional and amateur cheaters, as well as advantage players.

The list of experience in the field that Sal has accrued during his career speaks for itself, as he has worked positions from dealer to shift manager (for several U.S. casinos) to game protection specialist (a position created for him by an international casino firm) . He is a recurring guest speaker for casino industry conferences/expositions/trade shows around the world, including G2E, G2E Asia, Canadian Gaming Summit, et al. Piacente is also an instructor for University of Nevada, Reno's Gaming Management Program.

Sal Piacente has made guest appearances as a casino game protection expert on several television shows on Discovery Channel, Discovery Canada, The Learning Channel, Travel Channel, and Good Morning America on ABC. He also stars in and wrote a DVD series called Poker Cheats Exposed (approximately 2-1/2 hours of demonstrations of poker cheating methods).
