Salifu Eyiojotule Daniel
Project Manager, Consultant, and Public Speaker in Nigeria
I am Salifu Daniel Eyiojotule, a Nigerian aquaculture innovator, blue economy advocate, and Founder & CEO of AquaProX Africa, a youth-led aquaculture innovation and ecosystem development platform working to transform sustainable aquaculture systems across Africa through technology, capacity building, partnerships, and systems thinking.
My work sits at the intersection of aquaculture innovation, youth empowerment, sustainability, predictive technologies, and blue economy development. Through AquaProX Africa, I am currently leading the development of AquaProX AI, an emerging predictive aquaculture platform designed to support fish farmers with intelligent farm monitoring, production analytics, water quality intelligence, and data-driven decision-making systems.
In 2026, I represented Nigeria as the only African founder selected to pitch at the Blue Food Innovation Summit in London, where AquaProX Africa emerged 2nd in audience voting among global aquaculture innovators. Following the summit, I participated in a UK Aquaculture Learning Tour across England and Scotland, engaging with advanced aquaculture systems and institutions including Bakkafrost Scotland, BioMar, the University of Stirling Institute of Aquaculture, ChalkStream Foods, and the National Robotarium.
These experiences reinforced my belief that Africa’s aquaculture challenge is not a lack of talent or resources, but a systems gap, one that can be addressed through innovation, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and intelligent infrastructure.
Beyond technology, I am deeply committed to building youth-led ecosystems that strengthen aquaculture entrepreneurship, sustainable production, research collaboration, and blue economy participation across Africa. AquaProX Africa is also advancing plans for the AquaProX Hub, a proposed integrated aquaculture innovation and development campus designed to serve as a continental centre for training, enterprise incubation, research, sustainability, and aquaculture systems transformation.
I currently engage with a growing network of international organizations, researchers, innovators, and industry leaders working across aquaculture, sustainability, food systems, and blue economy development.
My interests include:
• Sustainable Aquaculture
• Predictive Aquaculture & AI
• Blue Economy Development
• Youth Innovation Ecosystems
