Hi, I’m Sal Rodriguez. I’m a writer and editor living in California with nearly a decade of journalism experience.
I am currently the opinion editor for the Orange County Register and its 10 sister publications in the Southern California News Group, which also includes the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
A graduate of Reed College, I have previously written for Solitary Watch and the libertarian Reason Foundation on issues ranging from prison conditions to criminal justice and public sector pensions.
