Samuel Genoese

Arlington, Va

Sam has been interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement since high school. As a student intern in the field, Sam hopes to have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge in the field of law enforcement generally, and in the work of federal agencies specifically.

During his undergraduate studies at the University of Dallas, his personal academic focus was on violent crime, and growth after trauma. Because of his interests, he attended a psychopathy continuing education seminar at Johnson & Wales University in Denver in 2010 where he had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Robert D. Hare, a world renowned expert in the study of psychopaths and violent offenders, and Mary Ellen O’Toole, senior FBI profiler (retired). Sam's current academic focus in graduate school continues to be violent offenders, specifically psychopaths, and he tailosr his course work to more fully explore this area.

Sam is currently a student in the forensic psychology masters program at the Washington, D.C., campus of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
