Experience

• Amazing Media - an initial 6 week placement in PR, working with clients such as The

  Isle of Wight Festival, Henley Festival, KISS FM and Magic FM. Responsibilities includ-ed compiling coverage and completing weekly reports and coverage logs for each client;transcribing interviews to place quotes with various media outlets; drafting competitioncopy and social media updates; helping to coordinate accreditation and activity withinthe media tent as well as interviews, photo calls and pit photography at the Isle of WightFestival 2014. I was invited back to work with the company for a further 8 weeks, basedon the strength of my work previously. I drafted the social media updates for clientsincluding Ice Skate Vauxhall and North Pole Cambridge, updated the company blog,helped on site with events such as Backyard Cinema’s Zombie Apocalypse and assist-ing on site with press photography for Wembley Skate Park, researched and contactedjournalists and media outlets, helping to draft press releases and creating a media listfor Budvar beer.

• The Zeitgeist Agency - a 7 week placement doing PR for music events and brandsincluding Reading & Leeds Festivals, Kendal Calling, Dr Martens Stand For Somethingtour, Original Penguin and more. Day-to-day duties included compiling coverage logs,finding press contacts and helping to draft press releases. I also worked on site at LeedsFestival organising interviews, liasing with journalists, tour managers and artist PR, help-ing with accreditation and doing main stage photo pit runs.
