Sam Madden

I am a student at Tufts University (class of 2015) where I am majoring in Political Science with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies. Since arriving at school I have been immersed in and fallen in love with innovation and the startup world.

I am part of the the team that is launching the Tufts Venture Fund. Our goal is to create a micro-seed fund that will work to promote entrepreneurial spirit at Tufts and contribute to transforming Boston into an American "startup hub." We are looking to give aspiring Tufts entrepreneurs the early stage funding they need to both get their venture off the ground and grow it successfully.

Beyond startups and the Tufts Venture Fund I am a die-hard sailor and I compete on the varsity team at Tufts. When I'm not working in the library or chatting over a cup of coffee I can be found most afternoons sailing the waters of Mystic Lake with my teammates.
