Growing Up:
I grew up in a family consisting of my mother and father, Jane and Elliot Horowitz, and my loving Sister, Svetlana Horowitz.
WSU Tidbits:
Why did I choose WSU?
I chose Washington State University because it has one of the best communication departments in the nation and I strongly believe that how we communicate with one another is how the world pushes forward in a positive direction.
What was your first day of class like?
The first day of class for me was a mix between excitement and nerves. It was a bit overwhelming stepping into a classroom of more than 150 students and not knowing anyone, but I quickly made friends who sat around me and the study groups I formed with them was crucial in my success in that class!
What advice do you have for new cougar parents?
My advice to them would be to let your son or daughter grow. Yah they might get a test score back that you might not be too happy with, or yah they might have slept in through one of their classes because there alarm didn’t wake them up when it was supposed to, but parents positive support combined with the positive support WSU faculty and WSU students provide for your son and daughter will truly bring out the best in what your kid has to offer. Mistakes are a part of learning.
