Sam is a third-year law student at Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina, is an alumni of Eastern Michigan University with a B.B.A. in marketing and a minor in philosophy. As a student, she serves as symposium coordinator and as associate editor for the Charlotte Intellectual Property Journal, as the publishing editor and staff writer for the Charlotte Law Docket, as the team captain of Charlotte Law's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team, and as the treasurer for the Intellectual Property Law Society. She has volunteered her time to animal shelters in the Charlotte area, and has been a literacy tutor for Cabarrus County. Outside of the classroom, Sam works as an independent consultant, introducing women to the wonder that is Jamberry Nails and empowering small independent business ventures. She believes in the power of hard work, dedication, and faith, and applies all of these towards every endeavor she undertakes. Sam contributes to various charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association, The Susan G. Komen foundation, and the American Cancer Society, both financially and by participation in fundraisers. In her spare time, Sam enjoys movie nights in with her pets, fresh homemade cooking, and white wines. Of course, she also loves pampering herself and taking in the moments. Music of all genres can be found in her music library, and she cherishes her family and friends dearly.
