I am a design engineer with years of experience in development of electro-mechanical and fluidic products. Hands on experience on the full product life cycle from inception, engineering analysis, design to manufacturing and launch.
I earned my first degree in mechanical engineering and cofounded two successful companies.
Early in my life, I was fortunate to gain admission to the high school formed to educate talented students. In the last year of high school, I and two of my classmates, initiated a project to design a light airplane. Under the mentorship of an experienced engineer, we designed the single-pilot airplane up to engineering drawings. The airplane was built and performed a successful test flight. The project earned us a student prize awarded by country’s president in 1991.
The next year I gained admission to mechanical engineering at Sharif Institute of Technology - the best national technical college. While still a junior, I cofounded a company to design and produce electrical parts for local car makers. The company grew from a staff of 1 (myself) to 50, shipping about 3 million parts annually.
In 2007, I cofounded another company to design modular building components. As the chielf design, I developed a new frame connection system that achieved technical certification by the national building research center. A large building complex was constructed in accordance with this system.
In 2010, I read the book "The World Is Flat". I realized in future enterprises will survive and thrive that target the global market. . I imigrated to US in 2011 and atended MBA program of Babson College in technology management.
After graduation, I joined a DNA sequencingstartup in Silicon Valley. During four yeas, I led the mechanical design of all their instrumentation.
In 2017 I joined Google.
