As a dancer, Sam has always shown her love for dance on and off the stage. She loves to share her passion with others. Starting at a young age, Sam began dancing and continued her studies at Dean College. In the spring of 2016, Sam will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance after training and studying in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap as well as related studies, such as pedagogy, dance composition and kinesiology for the past four years. She has had the opportunity of working with Jill Silverman, Gregory King, Kristina Berger, Jeremy Howes, Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Laura Young, Todd Shanks, and Jean Wenzel. During her time at Dean College, Sam has had the opportunity to perform in numerous student choreographed shows.
Teaching dance has always been a passion of Sam’s’. She has taught at numerous studios throughout the east coast of Massachusetts. She has also had the opportunity to work alongside with gymnasts that need to learn the fundamentals of dance at gymnastics gyms. In the summer of 2015, Sam had the opportunity to do an internship at Camp Pontiac, focusing on dance teaching. She had the opportunity to work with all different levels and ages ranging from six to sixteen. After graduation, along with performing, Sam ultimate goal is to share her passion for dance with children.
