Hi, my name is Samantha Pecoraio. I am 23 years old. I graduated from Camden County College in 2013 with an Associates Degree in Communications. Currently I am a senior at Rowan University, anticipating graduating in December of 2015 with two Bachelors degrees in Radio, Television, Film and Broadcast Journalism.

Since middle school I have always been interested in becoming a news anchor. I attended a Catholic school and was the designated public speaker of my class. I have been to the United Nations, spoke with the Pope and have had Distant Video Conferences with Ukraine classes. In High School I was apart of the morning news where I participated in all parts of the news, including, anchoring, sportscaster, meteorologist, entertainment, as well as behind the scenes-working with cameras, putting together the scripts and even learning how to cue graphics and cutting shots.

At Rowan I have anchored the news, worked on DVX100 cameras, used HD flip cams, wrote and edited scripts, wrote, interviewed and edited video for live shots, hosted a live thirty minute talk show, as well as interviewed and wrote many news clips for class. I have recently been accepted as an intern at 6 ABC news in Philadelphia. I am extremely excited and cannot wait to be apart of their news team!
