Samantha Rusike
Canterbury, Kent, Uk
South African born and have lived in Britian for 14 years which makes me quite English now.
I am a Triple Threat, in Performing Arts which means I can act, dance and sing. All this has helped me grow in confidence, allow my talkative and comical personality to shine through. Dancing is my ultimate favourite past time, in particular Hip Hop is my speciality. I am sure if there is a beat in the background I will be grooving a little bit. Being able to say I have performed at The Royal Albert is on another level; a memory I will share with everybody.
I have attended both Simon Langton Girls and Boys Grammar Schools in Canterbury. Both these schools have helped me embrace the intelligence that I have. I have been encourged to pursue my skill in sports in both schools. I do believe I have a natural ability to pick things up quickly and in sports it shows significantly. I have participated in Netball, Football, Tennis, Rounders, Athletics and many others. My commitements to these sports have allowed me to be a captain in some matches and lead our teams to victory.
I started my Gap Year off by volunterring in Uganda for 3 months teaching the students Biology, Chemistry and English. It was such an experience which made me realise how grateful I should be for what I have at home. I am now currently looking for work so I can boost my work experience and awaiting offers from universities to study Adult Nursing in September 2014.
I am a hardworking person and commit 100% to everything I do. I am perfectionist which helps me set high standards for myself and keep striving towards that. I have an engaging personality and always leave a lasting impression.
