My Top 5 StrengthsQuests strengths are: Learner, Achiever, Competition, Input, and Discipline. To me, learner and achiever are the most important to me, and I am not surprised that they are my top two. To me, being an achiever and learner is to constantly be on a quest for more knowledge and becoming well-versed in a variety of subject matters. These strengths have always impacted me because I have always enjoyed reading and learning beyond the standards, and I have also found academic success. Currently, my favorite class is Animal Sciences. Even though I am a Sports Industry major from Atlanta or perhaps because of it, I find learning about something I have no experience in the be fascinating and very stimulating.

My favorite Ohio State tradition is going to Block football setup. I get to go into the stadium two hours before the gates open, and get to see the Shoe when it's mostly empty. Block O is the official student section for Ohio State, and when we go in early, we setup the card stunts and paint the students that stand in the front row of the stands. Block O has quickly become the most important thing to me at school; I have met some great friends and have gotten to experience a wide range of sporting events. The time that I have gotten to spend with the other "Blockies" before the game starts contains some of my favorite memories from this school year.

My letter to myself at the beginning of the semester focused on telling myself to relax and trust myself. I had a hard time deciding on what school to go to, and once I made the decision to go to Ohio State, I wanted to put all the "what-if's" behind me. Overall, I think that I have done a great job of doing that. I also told myself t get involved with Block O and a couple of other organizations. I love Block O, and I am so glad that I went to their events. I still need to go to Sail Club and o the Spanish conversation tables, but I think I am still on the right track. I want to be more laid back in college than I was in high school, and so far, that resolution has worked out for the best.
