Samantha Powers

My name is Samantha Powers. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri in 2012, and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Library Science and Information Services from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
I currently teach fourth grade at D.W. McEowen Elementary in Harrisonville, Missouri. This fall (2014) marks the beginning of my third year teaching in this position. I absolutely love the community and staff here in Harrisonville.
Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in a group home for adults in Adrian, Missouri part time as well as at a property management firm in Overland Park, Kansas.
